Disabled Veteran Hunt

While hunting is FAR from what the Nature Center is all about, we are proud to partner with the Napoli Christian Camp Grounds to offer a yearly hunting week for disabled Veterans. The campground has been doing this program for years. They have recently ran out of room and approached the Nature Center. We have agreed to set aside four days for them to bring in some disabled Vets.

This is a WONDERFUL program. It gets these Vets back out into nature. The team at the campgrounds go out days before to scout the area. They then find multiple locations for ground blinds. They set up these blinds a day before. They then drive the Vets out to their blinds, and pick them up at the end of the day.

The Nature Center is proud to have them on the land. It is well deserved.
